Job summary

Gilbane Building Co. seeks a Lead Superintendent to independently manage all field operations on a $5-$50M project. This on-site role sits on the project team and drives safety, schedule, and quality to completion.

You will direct trade contractors, develop plans, monitor progress, and lead meetings to align stakeholders and achieve client satisfaction. Ohio location with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7–12 years of superintendent experience on $30M+ projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certified; STS-C certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED; Stop the Bleed training.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and subcontractors.
• Develops and communicates the field work plan and changes.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Leads safety program and enforces safety compliance in the field.
• Creates and manages the project schedule and contingency plans.
• Trains and manages direct reports on project needs.
