Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Lead Superintendent to independently manage all field operations on a $5-$50M project. This role will be on the job site every day and will lead safety, scheduling, and coordination with trade contractors and the client.

You will oversee daily documentation, plan development, and the execution of site logistics while aligning with Gilbane’s values of caring, teamwork, and excellence. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and STS-C certification preferred.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and sub-contractors to meet project schedule.
• Develops and communicates the field work plan for changes.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Ensures permits are obtained for construction activities.
• Leads contractor meetings and maintains daily field reports.
• Manages project schedule and contingency plans.
• Coordinates jobsite logistics and safety program enforcement.
• Trains direct reports on processes and completes scopes of work.
