Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a General Superintendent to lead all field operations on construction projects on the job site daily. You will drive safety, schedule adherence, and teamwork with project managers and executives to deliver complex builds safely and on time.

The role requires a proactive leader with 10–15 years of experience, a degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and proven ability to manage large-scale projects while coordinating diverse trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10–15 years of experience leading large construction projects ($50M–$100M+).
• Proven experience supervising or supporting MEP scopes on data center projects; OSHA-30-hour; STS-C; First Aid/CPR/AED training.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and sub-contractors to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Manages project budget for general conditions and site services.
• Develops and communicates field work plans and changes; maintains contract document understanding to anticipate problems.
• Leads safety program on site and enforces safety compliance with all trades.
• Plans, coordinates, and manages jobsite logistics; maintains daily reports and progress with project team.
