Job summary

Gilbane Building Company in Cleveland and Toledo is seeking a Lead Superintendent to independently manage all field operations on a $5-$50M project. The role is on-site daily and central to delivering on-time, safe, high-quality construction.

You will direct trade coordination, enforce safety, supervise direct reports, and collaborate with the project team to meet milestones and client expectations. Salary ranges $105,000–$140,000 in Cleveland, OH, plus comprehensive benefits and Gilbane

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• 7–12 years leading major commercial/industrial construction projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certified and safety-focused mindset.
• Proficient with common construction software tools.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trades to meet schedule.
• Develops and communicates field work plans and changes.
• Keeps contract documents in view to anticipate issues.
• Enforces safety program and leads site safety efforts.
• Maintains project schedule and daily reports.
• Leads contractor meetings and collaborates with team.
