Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead CI Engineer to drive continuous improvement across our operations in Olympia. You will lead data-driven projects, apply Lean methodologies, and coordinate cross-functional teams to raise safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

You will leverage Power BI, SQL, and other tools to identify root causes, deliver value, and mentor staff. This role interfaces across site leadership and operations, with potential CI resource supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain and related field.
• 7+ years in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing domains.
• Strong data visualization and database querying skills (Power BI/Tableau/SQL).
• Experience with Lean, PDCA, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and perform statistical analysis to identify process gaps.
• Lead CI projects across operations to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.
• Coach teams in CI, QA, and Lean principles and lead Kaizen events.
• Support start-ups, retrofits, and expansions with CI inputs and go-live readiness.
