Qualifications

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash and electronic transactions.
• Ability to train and coach associates while promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise throughout the work shift.
• Ability to safely use store equipment, including handheld devices, step stools, and dollies, in accordance with company policies.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the business.
• Ability to comprehend basic instructions, interpret documents, and apply them to daily tasks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Associate must be able to read and understand English.
• Associate must be able to stay alert and productive during assigned work hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver Best of the WEST service throughout the shopping experience.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Train, coach, and support cashiers on POS procedures, cash handling, and policies.
• Assist store leadership by monitoring front-end operations and resolving customer concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor, including displays and housekeeping tasks.
• Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, signed, stocked, and located per company standards.
• Promote store programs and suggest complementary merchandise to enhance the customer experience.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and maintain a professional appearance.
