Job summary

Cavender's is seeking a Head Cashier to lead the front-end team and deliver Best of the WEST customer service. This role concentrates on accurate transactions, coaching cashiers, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked sales floor to support daily store operations.

Ideal candidates have strong POS experience, excellent communication, and the ability to train others in cash handling and customer service standards. This full-time position requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Experience training and coaching cashiers.
• Ability to lift/move merchandise and maintain a safe, organized front-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end operations and deliver Best of the WEST customer service.
• Greet customers, assist with purchases, returns, and exchanges at the POS.
• Train and coach cashiers on POS procedures, cash handling, and company policies.
• Monitor front-end operations and assist store leadership as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales floor and displays.
