Cavender’s is seeking a Head Cashier to lead the front-end team and deliver Best of the WEST customer service. The role focuses on accurate transaction processing, cashier coaching, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

You will support daily operations, train staff on POS procedures, handle cash handling, and ensure adherence to company policies. A flexible schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash/electronic transactions accurately.
• Capable of training and coaching cashiers while promoting a positive team environment.
• Regularly lift and position merchandise during shifts.
• Safely use store equipment per policies; age requirements may apply.

• Deliver Best of the WEST service by greeting customers and thanking them.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions accurately.
• Ensure merchandise accuracy and display according to standards.
• Promote store programs and suggest complementary merchandise.
• Respond to customer inquiries in person and by phone.
• Train and coach cashiers on POS procedures and company policies.
• Monitor front-end operations and help resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales floor.
• Ensure proper merchandising, signing, stocking, and location according to standards.
• Maintain store safety and report concerns to management.
• Report to work on time and present a neat appearance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist with merchandising updates, price changes, and special orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
