Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Head Cashier to lead the front-end and deliver Best of the WEST customer service. You will process transactions, assist cashiers, and enforce store standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to train others, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays while keeping the sales floor clean and well-stocked.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer service in fast-paced retail.
• Ability to operate a Point of Sale system and handle transactions accurately.
• Ability to train and coach associates while promoting teamwork.
• Must be able to lift and move merchandise as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and lead the front-end to deliver Best of the WEST service.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions accurately.
• Train, coach, and support cashiers on POS procedures and store policies.
• Monitor front-end operations and assist leadership with cashier questions and concerns.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and properly displayed while following safety procedures.
