Job summary

Encore Global in Houston is seeking a Technical Lead to set up and operate audiovisual systems for hospitality events, ensuring complete client satisfaction. You will report to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and work on-site with hotel teams to guarantee flawless event execution.

The role emphasizes hands-on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and delivering outstanding service while mentoring junior technicians and supporting on-site coordination with clients.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; associate degree preferred.
• 2–3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 2–3+ years of audio-visual experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown AV equipment for events.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors; assist with invoicing.
• Follow Encore processes and safety guidelines.
