You will lead and train others, explain findings to customers, and stay current with evolving automotive technology while maintaining a clean, safe shop environment. This is a full-time position with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 4+ ASE certifications are preferred for this position (A4 Steering and Suspension & A5 Brakes, plus 2 from the following: A1 Engine Repair, A6 Electrical, A7 HVAC, A8 Engine Performance, L1 Advanced Engine Performance).
• Section 609 certification required.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions.
• Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules.
