Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will stand in during absences and opposite shifts, guiding the team to deliver outstanding service to both retail and professional customers.

Responsibilities include supervising showroom service, staffing during peak periods, coaching team members, and ensuring accurate processing of returns, transfers, invoicing, and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute customer service programs.
• Help schedule staff for peak hours and drive store goals through coaching and feedback.
• Ensure timely processing of returns, exchanges, and transfers and proper invoicing before product leaves the store.
