Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and lead the team in servicing customers.

Essential duties include supervising customer service, staffing during peak times, coaching team members, and handling store opening/closing procedures with adherence to policy. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and manager certifications are required.
• RSS Certification is required.
• Ability to lead the store team and manage during absence or opposing shifts.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, e.g., Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and oversee programs.
• Assist in staffing during peak hours and mentor team members.
• Ensure adherence to store policies, schedules, clock-ins, and security procedures.
• Oversee opening/closing duties and asset protection measures.
• Manage returns, invoicing, and balance cash handling per policy.
