Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role leads the team during shifts, drives customer service excellence, and participates in hiring, training and coaching to meet store goals.

The position emphasizes managing peak staffing, processing orders and returns, and ensuring policy compliance while maintaining a friendly shopping environment. Bilingual abilities are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure staff executes programs.
• Assist the store manager in hiring, training, coaching and achieving goals.
• Ensure timely processing of all orders and returns.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain store readiness.
