Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role will lead the team during the manager’s absence and on opposing shifts, driving excellent service for retail and professional customers.

You will assist in hiring, coaching, and ensuring staff training is up to date, while managing staffing during peak hours and keeping policies in place.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and manager certification required.
• Certified Parts Professional and ASE certifications preferred.
• Spanish language ability is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure program execution.
• Assist in staffing, scheduling, coaching, and goal setting for team members.
• Support in hiring tasks, interviews, and candidate evaluation with management.
• Ensure orders, returns, exchanges, and refunds are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Oversee daily store operations and opening/closing duties as assigned.
