O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the team during the Store Manager’s absence and/or opposing shifts, ensuring top-notch customer service and smooth daily execution.

The role emphasizes staffing, coaching, hiring participation, multilingual communication, and adherence to company policies while driving growth and loss prevention across store functions.

Qualifications

• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom with program execution.
• Ensure staffing at the sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist in setting goals, coaching team members and ensuring training.
• Assist in recruiting by scheduling interviews and selecting qualified staff.
• Handle telephone calls following company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and transfers promptly and notify customers on arrivals.
• Manage outside purchases and special orders efficiently.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and clocking in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties including day-end procedures and deposits.
