Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence or opposing shifts, leading the team to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and leadership abilities.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring and evaluating team members.
• Involvement in hiring processes and candidate interviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute service programs.
• Assist in staffing during peak hours and coordinate with the store manager on goals and training.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing and selecting qualified team members.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC orders efficiently.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced and store policies are followed.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
