Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the CRM and Integrations team. You will design, build, and scale integrations with CRM platforms and cloud services, delivering reliable UIs and services across distributed systems.

The role emphasizes leadership, architecture influence, and high reliability in an AWS-based environment. The candidate will drive end-to-end integration features, mentor peers, review code, and push AI-powered development practices while maintaining engineering quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership and cross‑team impact.
• Strong web UI frameworks and REST API based architectures.
• Experience building and operating cloud‑native or microservice-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major CRM platform (Salesforce, ServiceNow, or equivalent).
• Full‑stack development with front-end and back-end challenges.
• Proficiency in two or more modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.).
• Experience with NestJS or equivalent Node.js backend frameworks for REST services.

Responsibilities

• Build modern integration solutions using web UI frameworks, REST APIs, and cloud services.
• Develop and maintain integration capabilities with CRM systems and third-party providers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and operations teams.
• Contribute to technical design reviews, code reviews, and best practices.
• Write and maintain automated tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and monitoring.
