Job summary

Genesys is hiring for an Experience Acceleration Sr. Architect to lead hands-on AI-first engineering and build AI-powered experiences on the Genesys Cloud platform. You will design, implement, test, and deploy integrations, automation, and agentic workflows using modern APIs, SDKs, and AI tools.

You will own end-to-end delivery, create reusable components, and drive architecture decisions across teams, delivering tangible business value and scalable customer engagement solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on application development with JS/TS or Python.
• Experience with REST APIs, SDKs, authentication and OAuth, JSON, webhooks, Git/version control.
• Ability to own technical work from requirements to deployment and documentation.
• Experience designing reusable components, integration patterns, or architectures that scale.
• Experience with AI-assisted development environments and LLM-based apps.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.

Responsibilities

• Own technical solutions from problem definition and architecture through development, testing, deployment, documentation, and iteration.
• Design, build, test, and iterate on AI and Agentic Virtual Agent experiences in Genesys Cloud.
• Build applications, integrations, prototypes, and automation using Genesys Cloud APIs, SDKs, extensibility capabilities, and modern development frameworks.
• Design AI-powered solutions using LLMs, tool and function calling, structured outputs, grounding patterns, orchestration, guardrails, and evaluation approaches.
• Create reusable components, integration patterns, frameworks, and reference architectures that reduce duplicate development and accelerate future builds.
• Translate business and customer problems into technical requirements, solution designs, working software, and clear technical tradeoffs for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Operate collaboratively across product, engineering, sales, solution consulting, and enablement teams.
