The Atlantic District in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Lead Agent who can grow and lead a Farmers insurance agency through community-focused outreach and superior client service.

As the face of the agency, you will mentor team members, build lasting relationships, manage operations, and drive growth while delivering security and peace of mind to local families and businesses.

Qualifications

• Current Property and Casualty license for Virginia.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing insurance sales cycles and client accounts.
• Proficient with agency management software and digital documentation workflows.
• Ability to explain complex policy details clearly.
• Resident in the Lynchburg area.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute local outreach strategies to connect with families and businesses in the Lynchburg community.
• Analyze existing client portfolios to identify coverage gaps and offer proactive protection solutions.
• Mentor junior agents by sharing best practices and providing constructive feedback on sales techniques.
• Lead agency initiatives to improve client retention and overall satisfaction through consistent, thoughtful engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy modifications to ensure full compliance.
