The Atlantic District is seeking a strategic Agency Lead to drive growth, operations, and client service at a Gloucester, Virginia-based insurance agency. You will mentor a team, lead local outreach, manage leads, and ensure compliant, customer-focused service in a community-centered environment.

Ideal candidates have a Virginia P&C license, 3+ years in insurance sales or agency management, and a proven track record of leadership and community engagement within the Virginia market.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property and Casualty license.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance sales or agency management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a sales team toward growth.
• Deep knowledge of Virginia personal and commercial insurance products.
• Strong comfort with modern agency management software and digital documentation.
• Established ties to or intent to engage with the Gloucester community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the agency to ensure smooth client service and issue resolution.
• Mentor and guide staff to refine sales techniques and client service approaches.
• Develop and execute local outreach strategies to connect with neighbors and business owners in Gloucester.
• Manage lead pipelines and help the team convert opportunities into lasting policyholder relationships.
