The Atlantic District in Leesburg, VA seeks a Lead Agent to drive growth, oversee operations, and elevate client service for our Farmers agency. You will be the face of the team in the Leesburg community, building relationships, mentoring staff, and shaping our local market presence.

You will manage portfolios, ensure proper coverage for families and businesses, and collaborate on marketing strategies while maintaining meticulous records and timely follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance license
• At least three years of experience managing insurance portfolios or lead generation
• Strong public speaking and local community networking skills
• Experience mentoring junior team members or lead acquisition
• Proficiency with agency management software and digital document signing tools
• Clear, empathetic communication that builds rapport with neighbors and business owners

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth by engaging with the Leesburg community through local events and professional networking.
• Mentor and guide a small team of associates to ensure our service standards remain high.
• Review existing client accounts to ensure coverage gaps are filled and that every family has the protection they need.
• Manage complex policy renewals and resolve escalated client concerns with a focus on retention.
• Collaborate with the agency owner on long-term marketing strategies that bring our brand to more households.
• Maintain meticulous records and follow up on inquiries promptly to ensure no client feels overlooked.
