Job summary

The Atlantic District in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Lead Agent to join our local office and drive client relationships through knowledgeable insurance guidance. You will be the face of our agency, building trust with families and businesses while mentoring the sales team and shaping our community presence.

Ideal candidates hold an active Virginia Life and Health Insurance License with 3+ years in insurance sales, a proven sales record, and strong CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Life and Health Insurance License is required.
• Three years of professional experience in insurance sales or related field.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Virginia Beach area.
• Ability to mentor junior agents or team members.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients within the local community to discuss their financial security needs.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend life and health insurance products that align with individual client goals.
• Manage and nurture a robust pipeline of prospects through consistent follow-up and relationship-building activities.
• Review and analyze existing policy portfolios to ensure clients maintain optimal coverage as life circumstances evolve.
• Provide expert guidance and support to the sales team, sharing best practices to elevate collective performance.
• Represent The Atlantic District at local networking events to increase our brand presence throughout Virginia Beach.
