The Atlantic District in Forest, VA is seeking an experienced Lead Agent to drive sales growth while maintaining a personal touch with clients. You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with underwriting, and expand our neighborhood presence through targeted outreach and events.
Requirements include a Virginia P&C license, 3+ years in direct insurance sales or accounts, and strong negotiation and communication skills. A bachelor’s degree is a plus and hands-on training is available.

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities throughout the Forest area to grow our client base.
Lead the sales process from initial outreach to final policy implementation.
Analyze current market trends to provide competitive and relevant insurance solutions to our neighbors.
Act as a mentor to newer team members, sharing effective sales strategies and industry insights.
Collaborate with the underwriting department to ensure all client applications are processed accurately and efficiently.
Engage with the local community through events and networking to establish our agency as a pillar of support.
Valid Virginia Property and Casualty insurance license.
Three or more years of experience in direct insurance sales or account management.
Strong knowledge of insurance policy structures and underwriting guidelines.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close complex sales agreements.
Excellent verbal communication skills for building rapport with prospective clients.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience mentoring or coaching junior sales staff.
