At The Atlantic District, we believe that insurance is less about policies and more about the people standing behind them. We have spent years building a reputation in Charlotte Hall as a neighbor people can actually rely on, not just when things go wrong, but as they grow, build, and plan for their futures. We are looking for a Lead Insurance Agent who wants to do more than just process paperwork; we want someone who wants to plant roots here and become a true advisor to our community. You will be walking into a warm, collaborative environment where your expertise is valued and your voice truly matters. We are not looking for a script-reader; we are looking for a storyteller who can explain complex protection plans in a way that makes our clients feel heard, safe, and empowered. If you appreciate the value of in-person relationships and want to help us shape the future of our agency, you will find a home with us. We are excited to meet someone who leads with curiosity, kindness, and a deep sense of responsibility toward the families and businesses we serve.

Navigate complex renewals and mid-term policy changes with precision and care.
Participate in local community events and networking opportunities to represent the agency.
Collaborate with our carriers to secure competitive quotes and resolve underwriting hurdles for our clients.
Active Maryland Property and Casualty insurance license.
Three or more years of experience managing insurance accounts or a successful track record in personal lines sales.
Deep knowledge of local market insurance requirements and risk factors.
Strong comfort level with digital policy management systems and office productivity suites.
Ability to commute daily to our Charlotte Hall office.
Professional certification such as CISR or CIC is a significant advantage.
