Job summary

Ability Avenues in Golden Valley, MN is seeking a Lead Behavior Technician (Level 1 Provider) to join a team delivering high-quality ABA services. The role involves leading a team, implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with clinicians to achieve positive outcomes for clients.

The candidate will supervise junior technicians, collect data, and communicate progress to families while ensuring regulatory compliance and ethical standards in all settings.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or holding a Masters degree in a behavioral health, child development or related field.
• RBT credential or equivalent experience in ABA therapy preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to client locations in and around Golden Valley, MN.

Responsibilities

• Implement ITPs under supervision of a BCBA or clinical supervisor.
• Provide direct ABA therapy services to clients in home, community, or clinic-based settings.
• Lead and mentor junior behavior technicians and model best practices.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on client progress and behavioral targets.
• Assist in development and modification of treatment plans with supervising clinicians.
• Communicate progress with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with Level 1 Provider standards and applicable regulations.
