Job summary

ABA Therapy Partners is seeking a compassionate Lead Therapist (RBT) to supervise a team of BTs/RBTs and oversee treatment plans for children with developmental disabilities. You will ensure programs designed by BCBAs are carried out consistently and provide direct client care as needed.

The role emphasizes data collection and progress reporting, collaboration with families and the treatment team, and organizing therapy materials and scheduling in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field; master’s often preferred for higher level roles.
• RBT certification is common for lead roles; BCBA status preferred; licensure may be required for senior positions.
• Experience as a behavior technician implementing ABA therapy is essential; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for staff training and family coordination.
• Leadership and management abilities to motivate staff and oversee daily operations.
• Empathy, patience and problem-solving skills for working with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and mentorship for a team of BTs/RBTs and staff development.
• Oversee behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs designed by BCBAs.
• Monitor data collection and summarize client progress; assist with clinical assessments.
• Coordinate with BCBAs, parents, caregivers, and other professionals for a unified care plan.
• Provide direct, one-on-one therapy when needed; support treatment team in daily tasks.
• Assist with scheduling and organization of therapy materials and clinic operations.
