Ability Avenues in Golden Valley, MN is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician (Level 2 Provider) to support individuals through evidence-based ABA services and make a lasting, positive impact in their lives.

You will implement BIPs under supervision, deliver direct ABA therapy in home, community, or clinic settings, collect data, develop communication and daily living skills, and collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team while maintaining thorough session notes.

Qualifications

• Experience as Behavior Technician, DSP, paraprofessional, or related human services role.
• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with ABA principles, discrete trial training (DTT), and naturalistic teaching strategies.
• Strong data collection and documentation skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations in Golden Valley, MN area.
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to client growth and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under supervision of a BCBA or senior clinician
• Provide direct ABA therapy services to clients in home, community, or clinic settings
• Collect accurate and consistent data on client progress, behaviors, and skill acquisition
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
• Utilize positive reinforcement strategies and evidence-based techniques during sessions
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent support
• Maintain detailed session notes and documentation in compliance with agency standards
