Ability Avenues in Golden Valley, MN is seeking a Lead Behavior Technician (Level 1 Provider) to join a team delivering high-quality ABA services. The role involves leading a team, implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with clinicians to achieve positive outcomes for clients.

The candidate will supervise junior technicians, collect data, and communicate progress to families while ensuring regulatory compliance and ethical standards in all settings.

Competenze

• Currently enrolled in or holding a Masters degree in a behavioral health, child development or related field.
• RBT credential or equivalent experience in ABA therapy preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to client locations in and around Golden Valley, MN.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs) under the supervision of a BCBA or clinical supervisor
• Provide direct ABA therapy services to clients in home, community, or clinic-based settings
• Lead and mentor junior behavior technicians, offering guidance and modeling best practices
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on client progress and behavioral targets
• Assist in the development and modification of treatment plans in collaboration with supervising clinicians
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members regarding client progress
• Ensure compliance with Level 1 Provider standards and all applicable regulations and ethical guidelines

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in OR hold a Masters degree in a behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential or equivalent experience in ABA therapy preferred
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
• Experience with data collection systems and behavioral documentation
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations in and around Golden Valley, MN
