Job summary

Ability Avenues in Golden Valley, MN seeks a passionate Behavior Technician (Level 2 Provider) to join our growing team and provide meaningful, evidence-based ABA services to clients.

Under supervision, you will implement BIPs, deliver direct ABA therapy in home, community, or clinic settings, collect data, and help clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills. We value collaboration with families and a strong commitment to client growth and dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Behavior Technician or related human services role.
• RBT certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with ABA, DTT, and naturalistic teaching.
• Strong data collection and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to client locations in Golden Valley, MN area.
• Calm, patient, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized BIPs under supervision of a BCBA or senior clinician.
• Provide direct ABA therapy services in home, community, or clinic settings.
• Collect accurate data on client progress and skills.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Utilize positive reinforcement strategies and evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent support.
• Maintain detailed session notes and documentation in agency records.
