Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is hiring an Associate Member Services Representative to provide frontline member service and support branch operations. This entry-level role focuses on answering inquiries in person and by phone, performing routine transactions, and learning cash-handling procedures under supervision.

As part of the onboarding, you will complete core training modules and grow knowledge of deposits, lending, and account maintenance while upholding SECU policies and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence and trust.
• Completion of SECU Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in person, by phone, and digitally in a courteous, professional manner.
• Balance cash drawer and process transactions with accuracy.
• Assist with cash box management, account origination, and maintenance.
• Learn CXone and assist MSS as requested.
• Open basic accounts as you gain experience and follow MIP procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to security procedures.
