Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Officer to support branch operations and deliver exemplary member service. You will respond to inquiries in-person and by phone, assist with account activities, and begin training in lending and collections under supervision.

As you progress, you will learn about SECU policies, cashier responsibilities, and cross-department collaboration while maintaining professional standards and attendance.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Completion of SECU Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in a courteous, professional manner through service channels (in-person, phone, digital).
• Answer phones and assist members with service requests.
• Process wire transfers and handle notary services as requested.
• Assist with opening basic accounts and learn lending and collections under supervision.
• Maintain documents, perform cash box duties, and support branch operations.
