Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to learn SECU branch operations and deliver exemplary member service. You will handle inquiries in person and by phone, participate in training, and perform routine transactions while learning more about financial products and services offered by SECU.

A high school diploma is required, with a preference for higher education or industry certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must complete the Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member inquiries by telephone and in person with courtesy and professionalism.
• Handle routine branch transactions and assist with cash box management.
• Assist with account origination and maintenance, including basic new accounts.
• Balance a cash drawer and handle teller operations per procedures.
• Process wires, deposits and other routine transactions; support drive-through as needed.
• Maintain records and assist other departments to fulfill member requests.
