Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) is hiring an Associate Member Services Officer to help deliver exceptional member service and learn branch operations.

You will perform routine duties, respond to member inquiries in person and by phone, manage cash and basic account maintenance, and begin training in lending and collections under supervision. SECU values teamwork, integrity, and community service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; preferred college credits.
• Bachelor’s degree/CCUE/AA/AS via NC-CTP preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Aptitude for building member confidence and trust.
• Ability to learn branch operations and basic account opening.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary member service by phone and in person.
• Assist with cash box management and basic account maintenance.
• Learn CXone and assist other team members as requested.
• Handle notary services as requested by management.
• Process wire transfers and currency exchange for members.
• Greet members in a courteous, professional manner.
• Maintain daily file organization and document scanning.
• Attend training and complete required modules within 12 months.
