Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to deliver exemplary member service by phone and in person, handle routine branch duties, and support account origination and maintenance. You will participate in comprehensive training, learn branch procedures, and work with teammates to resolve inquiries while upholding security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree, CCUE Certification, or AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building member confidence, respect and trust.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member inquiries by phone and in person; provide exemplary service.
• Handle routine branch duties including cash box management and transaction processing.
• Balance cash drawer and operate drive-through as needed.
• Assist with account origination and maintenance and follow branch procedures.
• Process wire transfers and assist with basic account openings for new members.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to security and control procedures.
• Support other departments to facilitate member requests and ensure timely service.
