Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Lateral Intake Specialist to support conflicts of interest reporting during onboarding of new lateral candidates, including research, summarization of results, and report generation.

You will use conflicts applications, provide foundational context to Analysts and Counsel, and collaborate with the New Business Intake Lateral Team to resolve conflicts, with a hybrid US-based schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in conflicts or new business intake, preferably in a law firm.
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
• Experience with intake and conflicts software preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research and analyzes the corporate business structure and history of potential clients.
• Reviews, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes complex conflicts search results for reporting.
• Generates conflict reports and follows up on requests.
• Provides foundational understanding of conflicts to Analysts and Counsel.
• Communicates with partners to process lateral candidate requests and resolve conflicts.
• Other duties as assigned.
