Job summary

RXO, Inc. is hiring a Last Mile Operations Manager to lead daily carrier operations, optimize routes, and ensure on-time delivery across our network in Nashville. You will mentor staff, enforce policies, and coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.

The role requires supervising experience, logistics know-how, and proficiency with Office tools. A willingness to work varied shifts and travel between branches is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers and maintain contractor schedules and routes.
• Develop and mentor staff; train on policies and procedures.
• Interview, hire, discipline, and resolve staff issues.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Supervise employees per policy and laws, including performance reviews and training.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Identify problem areas and restructure routes to improve efficiency.
• Train carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and timely.
• Capture photos for every job.
• Allocate and request additional resources as needed.
