Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Last Mile Operations Manager in Ladson, SC to oversee daily carrier operations, support route planning, and mentor staff toward efficiency and high customer satisfaction.

You will manage contractor dispatches, ensure compliance with company policies, and drive improvements across delivery routes while coordinating with management teams. Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with MS Office (Word/Outlook/Excel).
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers and maintain schedules.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach goals; train on policies.
• Interview, hire, discipline, and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and procedures.
• Supervise employees per policies and laws; assign work and appraise performance.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Dispatch contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Identify problem areas and restructure routes for efficiency.
• Train contract carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately within timeframes.
