Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Operations for Last Mile to coordinate with site leadership and support home delivery services. The role focuses on day-to-day operations, improving efficiency, and leading a team of material handlers and dispatchers.

The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and experience in logistics. Work schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 12p–8:30p, with responsibilities spanning safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in operations.
• 2 years of experience in logistics or transportation, inventory control and merchandise reconciliation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site leadership to provide support for all home delivery services.
• Foster teamwork and provide daily support to a group of associates to ensure process efficiency.
• Leverage operational metrics to identify improvement areas and create actionable plans.
• Train material handlers to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to identify problem areas and restructure routes.
