Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Operations in Last Mile to coordinate with site leadership and support home delivery services. You will use metrics to drive improvements and work on optimizing routes and carrier dispatch processes.

The role emphasizes leadership, training of associates and collaboration with warehouse teams and carriers to meet customer expectations and safety standards. This position is based in Houston and requires on-site presence.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in operations.
• 2 years of experience in logistics or transportation, inventory control and merchandise reconciliation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site leadership to support home delivery services.
• Use operational metrics to identify improvement areas and create action plans.
• Train material handlers to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Foster relationships with warehouse team, contract carriers, driver helpers.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues.
• Partner with Operations Manager to identify problem areas and restructure routes.
• Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers and warehouse staff to exceed customer expectations.
