Job summary

Ruppert Landscape invites motivated students to join a 10–12 week Landscape Maintenance Internship. You will gain hands-on experience in field operations, work alongside crews, and learn branch operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will shadow teams in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Leadership, with dedicated mentorship to support your development and a path toward potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in office and outdoor field environments.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in common software including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job shadowing in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated mentorship with regular feedback and professional development.
• Management and leadership development exposure.
• Collaborative team environment with interns and professionals.
• Professional networking with peers, mentors, and leaders within Ruppert Landscape.
• Interns may choose to gain further training in a department at program end.
• Final presentation of internship experience highlighting field experiences, projects, lessons learned, and culture alignment.
• High-performing interns may be considered for full-time opportunities after graduation.
