Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Maintenance offers a 10–12-week paid internship in landscape maintenance with hands-on field training and office exposure. Interns shadow across Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, and Sales while receiving dedicated mentorship and leadership development.

You’ll build practical skills, gain industry knowledge, and work on meaningful projects in a collaborative, people-first culture that values teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in a related field (Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Interest in working in a team-oriented, customer-focused industry with willingness to support various operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of routine job duties.
• Proficient in computers and common software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Gaining hands-on experience in multiple areas of field operations and branch operations.
• Job shadowing with Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership teams.
• Dedicated mentorship with regular feedback and professional development support.
• Engaging in management and leadership development activities to prepare for future roles.
• Collaborative teamwork on meaningful projects with fellow interns; building industry connections.
• Networking opportunities within Ruppert and local branches.
• Interns may choose to receive further training in their department at program end.
