Job summary

Ruppert Landscape offers a 10–12 week paid internship in landscape maintenance, running May–August 2027. The program provides hands-on field training, job shadowing across Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership, plus dedicated mentorship and leadership development.

Interns work in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment, with opportunities to present their learnings and continue career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active pursuit of a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused attitude; willingness to support various operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and use common software applications.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job shadowing with teams in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated mentorship and regular progress feedback throughout the internship.
• Management and leadership development through teamwork, etiquette, communication and best practices.
• Collaborative projects with interns and professionals to build practical skills and industry knowledge.
• Final presentation to summarize experiences, projects, lessons learned, and growth.
