Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Installation Business Developer to drive new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing contracts for landscape construction and installation projects. The role balances sales expertise, industry knowledge, and relationship management to expand the client base and revenue.

You will build pipelines, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure a smooth handover to maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• 3–5 years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably in landscaping, construction, property or facilities management.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, horticulture, and project management fundamentals.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of installation opportunities outside the Maintenance book of business.
• Develop proposals and sales presentations that address client needs and highlight company value.
• Negotiate and close contracts aligning with pricing standards and profitability goals.
• Build long-term relationships with property managers, developers, and decision-makers.
• Transition final installation to Maintenance partner and be primary contact during sales cycle.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and drive retention.
• Partner with estimating, operations, and project management to ensure accurate proposals and service delivery.
