Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Installation Business Developer to drive new business growth by securing contracts for small-scale landscape construction and installation projects. The role blends sales expertise with industry knowledge and client relationship management to expand the customer base and maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, horticulture, landscape architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• 3–5 years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably in landscaping or related industries.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices and project management fundamentals.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline for installation projects beyond the Maintenance book.
• Develop customized proposals and sales presentations addressing client needs and value.
• Negotiate and close contracts aligned with pricing standards and profitability goals.
• Build strong relationships with property managers, developers, and decision-makers.
• Coordinate with BV Team to transition installation to Maintenance Partner.
• Serve as the primary contact during the sales cycle and ensure smooth handoff to operations.
• Maintain records of sales activities, pipeline development, and results using CRM systems.
