Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Land Development team. You will manage land development civil engineering projects, coordinate with survey, traffic, hydrology and hydraulics teams, and ensure schedules and budgets are met.

The role requires at least four years of land development experience and a PE license or eligibility within 12 months. You will lead up to five engineers, perform QA/QC, interact with city staff, and contribute to project success

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Land Development Engineering design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in respective state (or eligible for licensure in 6-12 months).
• Graduate from an accredited university or college with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Executes land development civil engineering projects efficiently (meets schedules and budgets).
• Supports land development civil teams to produce civil plan sets.
• Manages internal support teams (survey, traffic, hydrology and hydraulics) and coordinates schedules and budgets.
• Implements QA/QC program and ensures compliance within project team.
• Works with City/County staff for approval of project plans.
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously and allocates resources through project stages.
• Administers construction services portions of projects including RFI response and site meetings with contractors.
