Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to join our Land Development team. You will work with a seasoned group delivering civil engineering designs and plan sets for development projects.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in land development, a PE license or eligibility, and strong CAD/Civil 3D skills. This on-site role emphasizes collaboration, budget awareness, and QA/QC across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of land development engineering design experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or eligible for licensure within 6–12 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficiency in CAD/Civil 3D and related software.

Responsibilities

• Execute land development civil engineering projects on schedule and budget.
• Support land development teams to produce civil plan sets.
• Manage internal support teams (survey, traffic, hydrology, etc.).
• Implement QA/QC program within project team.
• Coordinate with City/County staff for plan approvals.
• Manage multiple projects and allocate resources across stages.
• Administer construction services including RFI responses and site meetings.
• Lead up to five technical personnel, assigning work and training staff.
