Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to join our Land Development team in Staunton, VA. You will lead civil design efforts, coordinate internal support teams, and ensure schedules and budgets are met while maintaining QA/QC.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, has a PE license or is eligible within 6–12 months, and has at least four years of related experience with strong CAD/Civil 3D skills and leadership ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or eligible for licensure within 6–12 months.
• Four+ years of land development design experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute land development civil engineering projects, meeting schedules and budgets.
• Support teams to produce civil plan sets and manage internal resources.
• Lead QA/QC and coordinate with City/County staff for plan approvals.
• Direct up to five junior staff; oversee assignments and reviews.
