Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. seeks a Clinical Applications Specialist I to support instrument and middleware integration from order to go-live, providing on-site training and acting as a technical consultant to customers. The role requires experience in both laboratory and IT environments, with hematology expertise and strong communication skills.

Extensive travel (up to 80%) is required across multiple U.S. sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years experience in hematology or related field.
• Active ASCP or CLS certification required.
• Supervisory experience desirable.
• Experience with LIS, HIS or WAM preferred.
• Strong CLIA/COLA experience necessary.
• Strong Hematology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Sysmex instruments, middleware, and reagents into customer sites and manage the installation process.
• Provide on-site training and ensure regulatory and validation requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot reagent, middleware, or instrument performance.
• Develop and deliver training programs for customers and Technical Services.
• Support sales objectives with pre-sale and post-sale activities.
• Travel up to 80% to customer sites.
