Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. in the New York area seeks a Clinical Applications Specialist I to support instrument and middleware integration in laboratories. You will implement systems, train customers, and ensure regulatory/compliance requirements are met, acting as a technical consultant from a lab perspective.

The role covers troubleshooting, on-site support, and collaboration with sales, with extensive travel up to 80% and a strong hematology background preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years experience or Associate's degree + Medical Technologist/MLT with 10+ years hematology experience.
• Active ASCP or CLS certification required.
• Supervisory experience desirable.
• Experience with LIS, HIS or WAM preferred.
• Solid CLIA/COLA experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Implement Sysmex instruments, middleware, and reagents at customer sites; plan and execute the integration.
• Troubleshoot reagent, middleware, or instrument performance to improve customer self-sufficiency.
• Develop and deliver training programs for customers and Technical Services.
• Manage time, territory and accounts; document activity and support sales objectives.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical information and support.
